Your first proof
For simple cards, flyers, posters and straightforward stationery, a first proof is usually ready within 3–5 working days after I receive your brief, required assets and agreed payment.
Planning your project
Three stages, with time to review your design.
Design time is additional to print production and delivery. I’ll confirm the expected print and delivery schedule for your specification before production. Working to a deadline? Contact me before ordering.

Timing confirmed before production. Your stock, finish, quantity and production service all affect the schedule. Nothing goes to print until you approve the final artwork and specification.
For the card and flyer specifications below, delivery is usually the next working day after production and dispatch to most mainland UK postcodes. Delivery for other products is confirmed before production. Some locations take 3–5 days; I’ll confirm the expected service for your delivery address.
For 250, 500 or 1,000 85 × 55mm, double-sided 450gsm silk business cards with square corners and either matt lamination on both sides or no lamination, allow around 4 working days for print and delivery combined. The same indicative allowance applies to 250, 500 or 1,000 A5, double-sided, unlaminated 130gsm gloss flyers. These planning allowances are based on the production partner’s Standard-service arrival estimates checked on 18 October 2026; they are not production-only times or guaranteed arrival dates. Design, revisions and your review time are additional. I’ll recheck the live schedule for your order and delivery address before production. Other stocks, finishes, sizes and quantities: Timing confirmed before production.
Usually allow 1–2 working days per feedback round, plus your own time to review the proof and request changes within your agreed package. First-proof and revision timings are typical targets, subject to workload and agreed scope; they are not promises of final approval by a fixed date. Your package’s existing revision allowance still applies.
Logos, branding, brochures, multi-item projects and complex artwork need an individual schedule, agreed before we start. The simple-print first-proof estimate does not apply to these projects.
After you approve the final artwork and specification, Byhorn needs to place the order and the supplier needs to accept the artwork before the applicable cut-off. Payment or sending a file does not on its own start production. A missed cut-off, artwork issue or supplier query can move the schedule.
An arrival date is an estimate unless a specific guaranteed service has been confirmed. An estimate that already includes delivery is not a production-only duration: delivery should not be added to that estimate again. Working days exclude weekends and relevant bank holidays. Some delivery locations take longer.
Please contact Dan before ordering or relying on a deadline. Faster services depend on the exact specification, availability, artwork acceptance and order cut-off. An advertised fastest service is not available for every stock, finish or quantity. I’ll confirm what can be arranged for your order.
Customer feedback, missing content and changes to the brief can move the schedule. Allow time for your review and any agreed revisions before print. I’ll discuss the effect of changes with you and confirm any revised timing.
