01 / The core idea

Simple enough to remember. Distinctive enough to belong to you.

A logo does not need to explain everything your business does. It needs a clear idea, an appropriate character and the flexibility to remain recognisable wherever people encounter it.

01

Relevant

The direction grows from your business, audience and personality rather than a style chosen in isolation.

02

Recognisable

A focused combination of type, colour and form gives people something clear to remember.

03

Versatile

The design is considered at small sizes, in one colour and across the agreed print and digital uses.

02 / A useful handover

The versions your business actually needs.

The main logo may not fit every space. Depending on the brief, a project can include horizontal, stacked or icon versions, together with full-colour, single-colour and reversed artwork.

I prepare the agreed files for practical use instead of leaving you with one flattened image. A concise colour and typography reference can also make future design more consistent.

Logo or wider identity?

A focused logo project establishes the core mark. If you also need rules for photography, layouts, social graphics, print and a broader visual system, that can be developed as a wider branding project.

A logo project may include

  • Discovery discussion and creative brief
  • An agreed number of visual directions
  • Refinement of the selected direction
  • Primary logo and useful layout variations
  • Full-colour, one-colour and reversed versions
  • Vector artwork for scalable print use
  • PNG and other agreed screen-ready files
  • Concise colour and typography guidance

03 / The process

A clear reason behind the final mark.

Every stage stays tied to what the identity needs to communicate and where it needs to perform.

01

Understand

We discuss the business, audience, personality, competitors and intended uses.

02

Explore

I develop the agreed number of routes and present the thinking behind them.

03

Refine

We strengthen the chosen route through the agreed feedback and revision stages.

04

Prepare

The approved identity is organised and supplied in the agreed formats and variations.

04 / Selected logo work

Different businesses. Different visual answers.

Identity work for local businesses, music projects and collaborative concepts, with each project’s role and context shown alongside the design.

05 / Put the logo to work

The core identity becomes more useful when it is carried consistently through the materials customers actually see.

06 / Logo questions

Useful before we begin.

How much does logo design cost?

The logo package is £149, including two initial design directions, two revision rounds and the final logo formats. The £249 Brand Pack adds fonts, a colour palette, Facebook graphics and a simple brand guide.

What is the difference between a logo and a brand?

The logo is the recognisable core mark. A wider brand identity also covers elements such as colours, typography, imagery, layout and how they work together across different materials.

Will I receive vector files?

Yes. The £149 logo package and £249 Brand Pack include PNG, JPG, PDF and vector formats for print and digital use.

Can you refresh an existing logo?

Yes. We can first assess what is worth retaining, what is causing problems and whether a careful refinement or a more substantial new direction is appropriate.

How many concepts will I see?

The £149 logo package includes two initial design directions and two revision rounds. These are also included in the £249 Brand Pack. Any wider brief is agreed separately.
